Henry Alexander Hennings

Henry Alexander Hennings, age 78, of Carthage, passed away on Saturday, November 14, 2020 at his home.

A Graveside Service with Military Honors will be held on Thursday, November 19, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Cypress Presbyterian Church Cemetery with Dr. Greg Poplin officiating.

Henry was born in Sanford, North Carolina on January 23, 1942 to the late Thomas Suttle Hennings and Margaret McFadyen Hennings. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his wife, Clara Mae Collins Hennings.

Henry proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and watching television or doing most anything outside. He will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his sister, Vergia Algene Phillips of Vass; niece, Renee Lewis of Texas; great-nieces, Jessica Osborn (Josh) of North Carolina and Stacy Crane (Chris) of Texas.
