Isabel Ida (Crosby) Layton

Isabel Ida Layton, age 73, of Vass, passed away on Saturday, September 6, 2025, at her home, surrounded by her family.

Isabel was born in Connecticut on April 27, 1952 to the late Carlton Boyd and Ida Race Crosby. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Janet Crosby, Bonnie Cokely.

She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Hanford Layton; daughters, Leanne McLane of Carthage, Tina McLane of Fayetteville, Linda Carr (Michael) of Aberdeen; grandchildren, Shawn, Ashley, Samantha, Rose, William; great-grandchild, Hadlee.

Isabel loved animals, knitting, playing video games, watching entertainment news and westerns, but especially loved spending time with her family. She will be greatly missed.
