James Greenleaf Obituary

 

James Edward Greenleaf, age 70, of Aberdeen, passed away on Monday, September 13, 2021 at his home, surrounded by his family and dog Bella, who has been his constant companion.

James was born in Boston, Massachusetts on February 1, 1951 to the late Alvah Claybourne and Marion Elizabeth Greenleaf. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by brothers, Robert, Richard and William.

James loved all kinds of sports, Football, Fishing, Camping, golf and was an avid pool player. He especially loved spending time with family and friends. He will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his wife, Joyce Rondeau; daughters, Laurie Greenleaf of Masschusetts, Kerry Decker and husband Jason of New Hampshire and Pauline Southern and husband Shane of Georgia; sister, Patricia Greenleaf and husband John Robertson of Southern Pines; brother, Ronald Greenleaf of Wagram, North Carolina; grandchildren, Sarah, Ava, Asia, Emoree, Kamryn, Ella and Jerrie; great-grandsons, Jayden and Jaxon.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Memory of James Greenleaf to FirstHealth Hospice Foundation, 150 Applecross Road, Pinehurst NC 28374.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
