James Fred Horne

James Fred Horne, age 82, of Cameron, passed away on Monday, August 21, 2023, at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital, surrounded by his family.

A Graveside Service will be held on Thursday, August 24, 2023 at 3:00pm at Pineywood Baptist Church Cemetery.

Fred was born in Lakeview on April 28, 1941 to the late Roy Fred Horne and Hazel Cummings Horne. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Angela Dawn Sutton, brother, L.B. Horne.

He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Mabel Doby Horne; daughters, Phyllis Farnham, Wendy Stewart both of Cameron; granddaughter, Amber Denise Wilson (Jerad); great-grandchildren, Haley Sutton, Jeremy Sutton, Noelle Webb, Emma-Lee Webb.
