Jane Burnette (Lane) Bigford

Jane Burnette Lane Bigford, age 78, of Cameron, passed away on Monday, August 5, 2024, at her home, surrounded by her family.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 10, 2024, at 2:00pm at New Covenant Church with Pastor Lee McKinney officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church from 1 until 2. Burial will follow in Cameron Community Cemetery.

Jane was born in Columbus County, North Carolina on December 23, 1945, to the late Jesse Lane and Virgenta Bollinger Lane.

We cherish the memories of our beautiful mother, who touched countless lives with her gentle kindness and unwavering support. Her strength, grace and love for people, animals, and nature will always be an everlasting source of inspiration to those who knew her. What a remarkable woman, mother, grammy, sister and friend who’s laughter and smile would always brighten our days. We are so forever grateful for the beautiful memories she created in each one of us that came encountered with her. Most of all she was a very spiritual woman that was always making sure that she walked the walk and shared the wonderful word from her Father in Heaven to whom she loved.

She is survived by her daughter, Lisa Danner (Joseph) of Cameron; son, Charles “Chad” Bigford, Jr. (Monica) also of Cameron; grandchildren, Megan Saunders (Jared), Morgan Livengood (Travis), Arielle Fowler (Richard), Dustin Bigford, Dawson Bigford; great-grandchildren, Jace, Liam, Tatum, Owen, Wesley; sisters, Colleen Willetts of Texas, Cathy Lane also of Texas; brother, Jesse Lane, Sr. of Texas.
