Janice Kay (Widner) Prevatte

Janice "Susie" Kay Widner Prevatte, age 68, of Carthage passed away on Tuesday, April 29, 2025 at Dahlia Gardens Center in Aberdeen with family by her side.

Janice was born in Virginia on September 27, 1956 to the late Sarah Louvenia Widner.

In addition to her mother, she was also preceded in death by her sister, Linda Kirk and brother, Charles Widner.

She is survived by her daughters, Martha Kovach (Barry, Jr.) of Carthage and Meredith Hawe of Sanford; son, Chad Prevatte (fiancé Ashley) Hendersonville; sisters, Becky Ayers and Rene Kirk; twelve grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; Aunt Maggie Barton and Uncle Edgar Widner and the father of her children, Everett Prevatte, Jr.
