Jerome Allen Reed, Jr

Jerome Allen Reed, Jr., age 74, of Cameron, passed away on Tuesday, April 13, 2021 at his home with loving family by his side.

A Graveside Service with Military Honors will be held on Monday, April 19, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery in Spring Lake with Pastor Tommy Horne officiating.

Jerome was born in West Virginia on March 31, 1947 to the late Jerome Allen Reed, Sr. and Ruth Preston Reed. He was a retired veteran who proudly served his country in the United States Navy for 20 years. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and friend. His memory will live on in the hearts of family and friends who loved him.

He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Adamae Jarvis Reed; son, Jerome Allen Reed, III of Cameron; daughter, Alicia Jo Fulks (Matt) of Sanford; sisters, Cheryl Whitehair (Delmous), Marguerite Sprouse, Glenda Rabenold (Kevin) all of West Virginia; brothers, Kenneth Reed (Barbara), William “Bill” Reed, Robert Reed, Thomas Reed, Stephen Reed (Barbara) all of West Virginia; grandchildren, Nicholas Boardman Mackenzie Reed, Caleb Reed, Justin Hedrick, Jeremy Hedrick (Shelby), Jace Sally, Jaylee Fulks, Jessalyn Fulks; step-grandchildren, Nicholas Fulks, Taylor Fulks, Noah Fulks; great-grandchildren, Carter and Tru.
