Jimmie Lynn Atkins

Jimmie Lynn Atkins, age 64, of Cameron, passed away on Thursday, January 27, 2022, at his home.

Jimmie was born in Chatham County on April 29, 1957, to the late Jimmie Deal Atkins and Maidia Simpson Cecil.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

Jimmie was a local farmer for most of his life. His energy and zest for life are what his family and friends will remember most. He was a loving brother, uncle and friend and will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his brother, Bobby Atkins and wife Robin of Louisburg, North Carolina; niece, Jennifer Worner and husband Alvin of Youngsville, North Carolina; nephew, Jason Atkins and wife Michele also of Youngsville, North Carolina; a great niece and several great nephews.
