John Schneider

John Kurt Schneider, age 78, of Cameron, went to be with the Lord on Friday, September 17, 2021 at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst.

A Private Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, September 22, 2021 at Cox Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Bill Beyer officiating.

John was born in Newark, New Jersey on January 22, 1943 to the late Kurt and Ann Schneider. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Raymond Schneider.

John dearly loved and was devoted to his wife, his children, and his granddaughters. He treasured his family and friends. John enjoyed traveling the world with his beloved Carol, serving his church and community, and staying connected with family and friends. He was known for his creativity and woodworking skills and enjoyed blessing others with his creations. John will always be remembered for his quick wit, his infectious smile, and his kind and compassionate heart.

He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, CarolAnn; children, Donna Schneider of, North Carolina, Diane Cassin and husband, Scott of Virginia and David Schneider and wife, Christine of Illinois; sister, Pauline Hummel of Missouri; brothers, Fred Schneider and wife, Audrey of Texas and Kenneth Schneider and wife,  Renate also of Texas; granddaughters, Abbey, Riley, Kaylie and Sydney.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Memory of John Schneider to St. Paul Lutheran Church, 3253 Niagara Carthage Rd, Whispering Pines, NC 28327.
