Johnny Leon Collier, Jr.

Johnny Leon Collier, Jr., age 53, of Oakboro (formerly of Carthage) passed away on Tuesday, July 16, 2024.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, July 20, 2024 at 2:00PM at Cox Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Eugene Ussery officiating.  A time of visitation will be held one hour prior to the service from 1:00-2:00PM.  Burial will follow in the Union Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Cameron.

Johnny was born in Moore County on May 26, 1971 to Johnny Leon Collier, Sr. and Kathy Phillips Collier of Carthage.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Tracy Conley Collier; sister, Karen Collier Frye (Jeff) of West End; four nephews; three great nephews and one great niece.

Johnny was an avid hunter and golfer, but most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.  He was loved and will be greatly missed.
