Joseph Nelson Bulgarino

Joseph Nelson Bulgarino, age 75, of Spring Lake, passed away on Sunday, January 16, 2022, at his home, surrounded by his family.

Joseph was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on January 16, 1947 to the late Raymond Bulgarino and Genevieve White Bulgarino. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, David Bulgarino and brother, Billy.

Joseph proudly served his country in the U. S. Army with over 20 years of service. His achievements in life were numerous and the love of his country made him an inspiration to his family, he will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his wife, Cindy Harvey Bulgarino; sons, Joey Bulgarino and wife Robin of South Carolina, Robert Bulgarino and wife Stephanie also of South Carolina, Joshua Harvey of Tennessee; daughter, Nickie Harvey of North Carolina; ten grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, January 23, 2022, at 3:00pm at Cox Memorial Funeral Home Chapel.

A Graveside Service will be held on Thursday, January 27, 2022, at 12:00pm at Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery in Spring Lake with Full Military Honors.
