Joyce Blackman Faulkner, age 64 of Carthage, passed away on Saturday, July 9, 2022, at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital.
A visitation will be held on Monday, July 11, 2022, at Cox Memorial Funeral Home from 6 until 8.
A Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday, July 12, 2022, at 11:00 am at House of the Lord Cemetery in Cameron with Pastor Tom Everette and Rhonda Martz officiating.
Joyce was born in Moore County on December 2, 1957, to the late John Daniel Blackman and Shirley Campbell Blackman. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Doris Martin.
It was her heart’s desire to share the love of Jesus with others. She leaves a testimony of steadfast faith through trials of life. Joyce was a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother and friend and will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Ted Faulkner; children, Shelby Wooten of Carthage, Dorian Guthrie of Wallace, Julie McLeod of Carthage, John Faulkner also of Carthage; sisters, Nora Blackman of Virginia, Linda Wegner (Scott) of Pinehurst, Rachel Blackman of Cameron; grandchildren, Madeline, Emma, Juliana, Davis and Hugh.
