Kim (Dill) Smith

Kim Dill Smith, at the age of 66, passed away on Thursday, June 18, 2026, at her home, surrounded by her loving family.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, June 26, 2026 at 1:00pm at Cox Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor John Brown officiating. Burial will follow at Creekside Community Church Cemetery.

Kim was born in Georgia on October 13, 1959 to the late Alice Joyce Dill. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her sister, Kerry Dill.

She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Benton Smith; children, Brandy Tomcany (Mike) of Wilmington , Ben Smith (Brittany) of Chapel Hill, Katie Smith (Johnny Bisi) of Apex; grandchildren, Maddox Rhodes, Nolan Smith, Greyson Albanese.

She had a deep love for life’s simple pleasures, traveling to the beach, going on cruises and spending time with her grandchildren. She spent 26 years in banking but will be remembered as a woman of God.
