Lawrence Edwin Heinold

Lawrence “Larry” Heinold, age 89, of Vass, passed away on Tuesday, October 5, 2021 at his home, surrounded by his family.

A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, October 8, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Mt. Pleasant Christian Church Cemetery with Military Honors and Pastor Raymond Campbell officiating.

Larry was born in Clinton, Massachusetts on May 13, 1932 to the late Edwin John and Helen Dillon Heinold. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Katie Smith Heinold. Larry proudly served his country in the U. S. Air Force and worked in the tool and die industry after leaving the military.  He had a very strong work ethic and love of his country. He will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his son, Russell Heinold and wife Lori of Vass; sister, Helaine Gray of Massachusetts; grandchildren, Andrew, Megan and Alex.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Memory of Larry Heinold to Mt. Pleasant Christian Church, 4460 Lobelia Road, Vass NC 28394.
