Lori Ann (Griffin) Smith

Lori Griffin Smith, age 57, of Carthage, passed away on Sunday, April 20, 2025, at UNC Hospital in Chapel Hill.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, April 26, 2025 at 2:00pm at Cox Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Alex Smith officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the funeral home.

Lori was born in Oklahoma on March 10, 1968 to Joyce Springs Griffin and the late Gary Redonski Griffin. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her husband, Mark Leon Smith.

She is survived by her children, Josh Brandon Smith of Carthage, Tiffany Nicole Smith of Raleigh; sisters, Elizabeth Griffin, Melinda Sosa both of Sanford.
