Margaret Ozean (Patterson) Campbell

Margaret Patterson Campbell, age 90, of Pinebluff, went to her heavenly home on Saturday, September 20, 2025, at her home, surrounded by her loving family.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, October 4, 2025, at 11:00am at New Life Tabernacle with Rev. John Scarborough officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church from 10 until 11. Burial will follow in Johnson Grove Cemetery in Vass.

She was an avid reader and lifetime member of New Life Tabernacle Church. She dearly loved her family and worked double shifts to provide for her family. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend and will be greatly missed.

Margaret was born in Sanford, North Carolina on February 18, 1935, to the late Guilford Grayson Patterson and Margaret Dinkins Patterson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Franklin Campbell, Jr., son, Bruce Campbell, grandchildren, Sonda Locklear, Michele Peterson, Missy Meyers, brother, Wilbert G. Patterson, son-in-law, Jimmy Wright.

She is survived by her daughters, Linda Campbell Williamson (Samuel) of Pinebluff, Peggy Campbell Wright also of Pinebluff, Susan Campbell Locklear of Aberdeen, Carolyn Campbell Frye (Ronnie) of Cameron; sisters, Judy Stone of Pinebluff, Dorothy Warren of Ohio; brother, Milton Patterson of Sanford; nine grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law Sandy Campbell.
