Marjorie Evalena Halterman Obituary
Evalena Gates Halterman, age 90, of Carthage, formerly of Sanford, passed away on Friday, November 6, 2020 at Pinelake Health and Rehab Nursing Home in Carthage.
Evalena was born in Chatham County on December 8, 1929 to the late William Luther and Minnie Briggs Gates. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Clarence Halterman; sister, Ellen Sheaves, brothers, Raymond , Edward, Roy and Lloyd. She will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her children, Scott Hickman, Keith Hickman and Jay Hickman all of Sanford; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
