Martha Elizabeth (Elliott) Wall

Martha Elliott Wall, age 90, went to her heavenly home on Tuesday, September 27, 2022, at Magnolia Gardens in Southern Pines.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, October 3, 2022, at 3:00pm at Red Branch Baptist Church in Carthage with Pastor Billy Graham officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church 2 until 3. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Martha enjoyed her cats, working in her flowers, watching her hummingbirds and spending time with her family. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Martha was born in Harnett County on November 12, 1931, to the late Charlie William Elliott and Cora Carter Elliott. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Geraldine Wood, brothers, Charlie Elliott, Oscar Elliott, Alvin Elliott, a granddaughter, Lori Elizabeth Mansfield, three great-grandchildren, Emily Ann Lytle, Tony Ryan Lytle and James Michael Lytle.

She is survived by her husband of 74 years, Odell Wall; children, Fred Wall (Ruth) of Carthage, Phyllis Holder (Eddie) of Carthage, Hubert Wall (Teresa) of Sanford, Debbie Norton of Carthage, Larry Wall (Ginny) of Charlotte; sister, Carol Ring (Buster) of Cameron; brother, Tommy Elliott (Catherine) of Sanford; nine grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren.
