Mary Davis Obituary

Mary Elizabeth Davis, age 73, of Sanford, passed away on Saturday, May 22, 2021 at FirstHealth Hospice House in Pinehurst.

Mary was born in Chatham County, North Carolina on December 28, 1947 to the late William and Eliza Ellis Davis. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Barbara. She enjoyed a career in retail sales and was most happy when outdoors in her garden. She was very talented and could do anything. Mary was a loving mother, sister, grandmother and friend who will certainly be missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her sons, Chris Clark (Cayce) of Chapel Hill, Thomas Clark (Erin) of Southern Pines, Scott Bovelsky of Florida; daughter, Michelle Clark of California; sisters, Lois Hewitt and Sarah Wright both of Chapel Hill; brothers, Charlie Davis and Wren Davis also of Chapel Hill; eight grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
