Michael Eugene Brown

Michael Eugene Brown, age 74, of Cameron, passed away on Friday, September 9, 2022, at FirstHealth Hospice House, surrounded by his family.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, September 11, 2022, at 3:00 pm at Solid Rock Community Church with Pastor Brad Marona officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church from 2 until 3. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Mike was born in Lillington, North Carolina on June 17, 1948, to Kathleen Brown and the late Marcelle Brown. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a sister, Judy Faye Brown, brother, Gerald Lee Brown.

He was a very talented carpenter he could build anything. Mike loved fishing, working in his yard and his vegetable garden but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his grandsons. He was a loving husband, father, brother, uncle, grandfather and friend and will be greatly missed.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife of 53 years, Susan Brown; sons, Tim Brown and wife Melissa of Vass, Jason Brown of Southern Pines; grandsons, Avery Charles Brown and Ethan Lee Brown; sister, Pam Brown of Lillington; brother, Marcelle Brown, Jr.
