Michael Lynn Pilson

Michael Lynn Pilson, age 61, of Thurlow Lake Road, Carthage passed away peacefully at First Health Moore Regional Hospital on Monday, January 22, 2024.

Michael was born on July 29, 1962 to the late Burch Pilson and Opal Oakley Pilson.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his twin brother at birth, sister, Linda Parker of Tennessee, brother, Tommy Pilson of the home.

He is survived by two sisters, Joyce Weatherford (Tony) of Laurel Hill and Betty Estes of Sanford and many nieces and nephews.

Mike graduated from Union Pines High School and worked many years delivering water and as a security guard.  He loved being outdoors and going hunting and fishing.  He enjoyed old westerns on tv, and he was an outgoing and friendly person.  He never met a stranger, and he will be greatly missed by family and friends.
