Nettie Ann (Faulk) Smith

Ann Faulk Smith, age 88, passed away on Saturday, September 28, 2024, at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, October 1, 2024, at 4:00pm at Mt. Pleasant Christian Church with Pastor Chandler Wilkes officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church from 3 until 4.

Ann was born in Sanford, North Carolina to the late Ernest Joseph Faulk and Nettie Barbee Faulk. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Curtis Smith, daughter, Judy Hudson, grandchildren, Crystal Hudson, Larry Hudson, Donald Smith, Jr, sisters, Mavis, Susie, Ruby, brothers, George, Allen, James, Jack, Joe, Claude, Harry.

Ann enjoyed gardening, crossword puzzles and watching sports especially the UNC Tarheels, but her favorite of all was spending time with her family. She was a loving mother, aunt, grandmother and friend and will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her daughters, Rhonda Smith Fields, Becky “Corky” Diane Smith; son, Donald Curtis Smith (Teresa) all of Vass; grandchildren, Jamie Fields, Reed Smith; great-grandchildren, Tristan Fields, Jayden Locklear, Bryson Locklear.
