Obituary
Pamela Fletcher, better known to friends as Tuesday, age 59, of Sanford, passed away on Friday, December 24, 2021, at Duke Medical Center in Durham.
Tuesday was born in Lee County on September 9, 1962, to the late Betty Lou Fletcher McAuley. She has always been a free spirit and will be remembered for her creative artwork. Tuesday began a career as a pipe welder for 32 years and ended it as a creative sculptress. Your piece of scrap metal in her hands became a true piece of art.
In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her stepfather, Mark McAuley and brother, Bobby Fletcher.
She is survived by her sister, Vernie Stack of Sanford, stepsister, Phyllis Clark of Mamers, special friends, Debbie Criscoe and Mark Scheafer who stood by her bed for many days.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
