Patricia Marie (Harner) Cummings

Patricia (Patty) Marie Harner Cummings, age 61, of Carthage, passed away on Monday, March 20, 2023 at FirstHealth Hospice House in Pinehurst, surrounded by her family.

Patty was born in Virginia on October 31, 1961 to the late Herbert and Judy Kay Engle Harner.  She was also preceded in death by her husband James Clifton Cummings, II and sister, Tammy Kay Harner.

She is survived by her daughter, Danielle Harner, sister, Robin Wilson, brothers, Wayne Harner, John Harner and two granddaughters, Alexis and Aliza.

Patty was a joy to be around and loved sitting on her front porch bird watching and listening to music.  She also loved going to work and loved her customers. She will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved her.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, March 24, 2023, at 4:00 PM at Cox Memorial Funeral Home with Pastor Sammy Frye officiating and a time of visitation one hour prior to the service.  Burial will follow at Johnson Grove Cemetery in Vass.

The family would like to invite you for a time of celebration immediately following the graveside service at the home of Johnny Harner, 296 Heritage Farm Road, Carthage.
