Patricia Ruth Gerow (Trish), 91, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 8, 2023 at FirstHealth Hospice House, surrounded by her family.
She was born in Norman, Oklahoma on March 4, 1932. She was a beloved great grandmother, grandmother, mother, wife, sister and friend during her 91 years of life. Trish was the light and back bone of her family and will be deeply missed by all who were blessed enough to have known her. She touched the lives of many people across multiple families. During her time with us, she made it a point to always help whenever she could, never thinking about herself. Anyone who knew Trish knew that her family meant everything to her. She loved her family fiercely.
We will remember Trish for her loving nature, her playful jokes and yes, her endearing stubbornness. She had a deep passion for all living animals, especially her fur-babies. She enjoyed sitting in her living room watching her great grand babies play and listening to good ol’ Conway Twitty while she talked about memories of her late husband Ray whom passed away in 2004. She also loved playing games with her family during the holiday gatherings at her home. We will always remember how magical her house was around Christmas time as she had it decorated immaculately.
Trish is survived by her three children: Mark Beaver, of Texas; Steve Beaver, of California; Rebecca Horne, of North Carolina, her daughter in law, Kerry Beaver and her son in law, Bruce Horne. She leaves behind her grandchildren, Amy, Libby, Stephen, Mark, Denise and Markie; and numerous great grandchildren. She also leaves behind other family members, dear friends and her sweet dogs Reggie, Maggie and Cash, who will sadly miss her.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests prayers for peace and comfort during this difficult time as they grieve the loss of Trish.
