Patricia Ann (Hunt) Noethen

Patricia Hunt Noethen, age 79, of Pinehurst, passed away on Tuesday, January 25, 2022, at Pinehurst Health and Rehab, surrounded by her children.

A walk through visitation will be held on Friday, January 28, 2022, at 4:00pm until 6:00pm at Cox Memorial Funeral Home Chapel.

Patricia was born in Robeson County on January 14, 1943, to the late Aron Lucian and Ader Bell Hunt. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George Noethen, a son, Cedric Wesley Oxendine, sisters, Lucille, Dottie, Grace, Mildred and Mertice, brothers, Bud and Mack.

As a result of her generous spirit and pleasant personality, she was loved by many. She was a loving mother, sister, aunt, grandmother and friend and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her children, Charlie “Chuck” Oxendine and wife Robin of Vass, Tonia Oxendine of Louisiana and Janae Harrison of Vass; sisters, Hattie of Wilmington, Mary of North Carolina and Geri of Lumberton; ten grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
