Paula Fitzmaurice Vandermark

Paula Fitzmaurice Vandermark, age 71, of Vass Woodlake, passed away on Monday, October 19, 2020 at her home, surrounded by her loving family with candles lit, listening to Johnny Mathis.

Paula was born in Pecos, Texas on February 9, 1949 to the late James and Dorothy Haywood Fitzmaurice. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her sisters, Lynda Purdy and Debra Deavor, brother, John Fitzmaurice.

Paula was known for her many beautiful homes she created and scrumptious meals she prepared. Paula spent many hours on her computer staying connected with family and friends and was also known for her quick wit. She was loved by her family and friends and will be truly missed.

She is survived by her husband of 51 years, William K. Vandermark; children, William R. Vandermark (Linda) and Lisa Coddington; grandchildren, Erik Vandermark,  Amanda Huber and Samantha O’Brien; great-grandchildren, Kyle O’Brien, Emmet O’Brien and Evelyn Huber; sisters, Myrna Figgs and Leonora Fitzmaurice; cousin, Margaret Connors, many nieces and nephews and good friends.

A private service will be held at a later date.
