Ronald Wayne Cook, age, 84, of Carthage, went to his heavenly home on Friday, October 24, 2025, at his home, surrounded by his loving family,
A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, at 1:00pm at Crossroads Community Church with Pastor Gary Coleman officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Military Honors.
Ronald was born in Virginia on September 14, 1941, to the late Otis Randall Cook and Mable Tickle Cook.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Joanne Bibey Cook; daughters, Tamara Dreama Thomas (Shane) of Cameron, Monica Jeanne Roberts (Mark) of Texas; grandchildren, Holly Ashleigh Snelling (Billy) of High Falls, Justin Ray Roberts, Kayla Nicole Roberts both of Texas; great-grandchildren, Ashton Ray Roberts, Emory Juniper Laughman; sisters, Ramona Cook of Carthage, Sandra Cagle (Bob) of Texas, Donna Mann of Louisiana; brothers, Otis Randall Cook, Jr. (Debbie) of Texas, John Cook (Sance) of Oklahoma.
He proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy. Wayne loved to do woodworking and carving. He enjoyed oil painting, reading, and building computers. Wayne was a self-taught in several different languages and musical instruments. He was an excellent provider for his family. He will be greatly missed.
