Russell Lawrence Heinold

Russell Lawrence Heinold, age 56, of Vass, passed away on Monday, January 20, 2025, surrounded by his family.

Russell was born in Moore County on April 3, 1968, to the late Lawrence “Larry” and Katie Smith Heinold.

He is survived by his wife Lori Heinold; sons, Andrew Heinold of Lakeview, Alex Heinold of Vass; daughter, Megan H. Deese (Zackary) of Vass; grandchild, Teddy Deese.

Russell spent his career in auto body repair and was an avid Duke fan.  He was a loving husband, father and grandfather and will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved him. 

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, February 1, 2025, at 11:00am at A New Beginning Assembly of God with Rev. Jane Andrews officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Pleasant Christian Church Cemetery.
