Ruth Ann (Howe) Demarest

Ruth Ann Howe Demarest, age 85, of Vass, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 4, 2026 at her home with family by her side.

Ruth was born in Union County, New Jersey on April 10, 1040 to the late George Howe and Rose Howe Acquviva.  In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her sister, Marie; brother, Andrew Howe and granddaughter, Skylar Dunn.

She is survived by her daughters, Susan Dunn of Cameron and Anne Demarest of Vass; sons, Jay Demarest, Jr. of Florida and Michael Demarest of Asheboro and two grandchildren.
