Sally Fern (Beesley) Watson

Sally Beesley Watson, age 64, of Carthage, passed away on Sunday, December 14, 2025, at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Sally was born in Canada on March 26, 1961 to the late Joseph Ralph Beesley MD and Eleanor Moorehouse Beesley. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Christopher R. Watson.

She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Samuel Watson, children, Samuel R. Watson of Sanford, Jessica Sally Dees of Carthage, Joshua M. Watson of Asheville; grandchildren, Christopher Chase Watson, Lila Watson, Gabriel Watson; sister, Pamela E. Goldsmith of Florida, identical twin sister, Susan Beesley Scurlock of King, NC.; brother, Joseph R. Beesley, Jr. of Canada.

She was the epitome of a mother in her love for her children and her fur babies. She will be greatly missed and will never be forgotten.
