When anyone saw Sammy Hart, they would see a smiling face.
Sammy took great pride in his heritage and practicing his culture. He was chosen to take responsibility of the sweat lodge. He loved to attend POW WOWS and other Native American events.
Sammy loved nature and the outdoors. He would sometimes spend the night outside. He also enjoyed going fishing. He loved music. His favorite song was The Rose by Bette Midler, His favorite color was red. Sammy worked as a background enhancement actor in several movies and in the television series Dawson’s Creek.
Sammy was a very energetic and adventurous child. He could be caught swinging from the highest pine tree in the yard, or skiing done a triple diamond mountain on his first ski trip. He was a gymnast and was never afraid to learn something new on the bars and other gymnastic equipment, or in tumbling movements. He liked being up high, especially when repelling, or Zip Lining. He loved Karate and was a brown belt
As a youngster he loved to go to work with his Daddy, Neal. He continued to enjoy the Construction business into adulthood. As an adult he was devoted to helping his family and friends Whenever he was called upon, he was there to help, whether, it was installing a gate, cleaning an apartment, or cuttings trees.
He attended Lee Senior High School and was a graduate of the Fiber Optics Program at Central Carolina Community College. Sammy continued his education with various Certifications.
He loved his father Neal Hart, his mother Toni-Lynn Hart, his sister Jasmine and all of his relatives and friends. Sammy enjoyed calling his mother Mambo and she called him Sambo just for fun. He was always her little boy.
His family and friends will miss him and his smiling face, but they will find comfort in knowing that one day they will see him again.
A Celebration of Life was held at Cox Memorial Funeral Home Chapel.
