Shelby Jean (Flagle) Dittmann

Shelby Flagle Dittmann, age 79, of Whispering Pines, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 21, 2025 at her home.

Shelby was born in Pennsylvania on July 28, 1946 to the late Kenneth Edgar Flagle and Dorothy Shatzer Flagle. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Roger Dittmann.

She is survived by her daughter, Lisa Gertz (Mike) of Clayton, NC, step-daughter, Lori Hawley Schieving (Patrick) of Iowa; grandchildren, Zackary Gertz, Cody Gertz; sisters, Joyce Suffecool, Doris Rock both of Pennsylvania.

Shelby could light up a room with her smile. She was also a very kind and giving person. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend and will be greatly missed.
