Steven Carr Buchanan, age 68, of Sanford, passed away on Friday, May 8, 2026, at his home.

Steven was born in Sanford, North Carolina on October 21, 1957 to the late Bryan Campbell Buchanan and Mallie Mae Simmons Buchanan.

He is survived by his sisters, Gloria Buchanan Stone of Sanford, Patricia Buchanan Covington of Rockingham.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
