Toby Steven Taylor

Toby Steven Taylor, age 73, of Vass, passed away on Thursday, November 9, 2023 at The Green’s Nursing Home.

Toby was born in Moore County on July 3, 1950 to the late Elbert Taylor, Sr. and Lela Reynolds Taylor. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Taylor, son, Christopher Taylor, brothers, Elbert, Larry and Jerry Taylor.

Toby was raised on a farm in Carthage, North Carolina and graduated from Union Pines High School. He later moved to Asheville and managed an apartment complex, then to Myrtle Beach as a construction superintendent and back to Southern Pines at the Kubota dealership and ending up in construction work and repairs for the general public in Moore County.

He is survived by his sisters, Virginia Marshal of Sanford, Doris Keith, Carol Thomas both of Cameron; brother, Louis Taylor of Greensboro.

Services will be private.
