Wendy Joyce (Zinn) Hanks

Wendy Zinn Hanks, age 71, of Vass, passed away on Thursday, May 4, 2023, at her home, surrounded by her loving family.

Wendy was born in Connecticut on July 8, 1951, to the late Norman Zinn and Beatrice Pearlstein Zinn.

Wendy was a very loving and strong woman. She loved all animals, especially her many pets and the animals she rescued. She took great pride in her flowers and her bird feeders were always full. Wendy had a deep love of music and was always found dancing in the kitchen. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister and will be greatly missed.

Wendy is survived by her husband, William Hanks; children, Sarie Leide (John) of Kentucky, Aaron Dannenberg (Stephanie) of Southern Pines; sister, Martha Zinn of Connecticut; brother, Michael Zinn of New York; grandchildren, John and Rachel Leide.
