Wendy Kay (Apple) McRae

Wendy Apple McRae, age 55, of Lakeview, passed away on Wednesday, January 4, 2023, at FirstHealth Hospice House.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, January 8, 2023 at 3:00 P.M. at Lakeview Presbyterian Church with Pastor Julie Hughes officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church from 2 until 3. Burial will follow in Lakeview Cemetery.

Wendy was born in Moore County on April 13, 1967 to Lewis Newell and Helen Johnson Apple.

She enjoyed music, reading, dancing, and her cat and dog and especially enjoyed spending time with her family. She will be greatly missed.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her children, Abigail Howard (Mark) of New York, Maggie Livengood of Asheville, Eric McRae of Vass; brother, Mike Apple (Dawn) of Lakeview; grandchildren, Stella, Lilly, Luke and Ila.
