William "Billy/Tobo" Daggett, Sr.

William “Billy” Tobo Daggett, Sr. age 58, of Carthage, was called home on Tuesday, July 20, 2021 at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, July 24, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Mercy Life Ministries in Sanford with Pastor Yonas Badi officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 1 until 2 p.m. Burial will follow at Buffalo Cemetery in Sanford.

Billy was born in Richmond Heights, Ohio on August 4, 1962, to William Leroy and Dorothy Adkins Daggett. He spent his career as an Electrician and served as a deacon of Mercy Life Ministries for many years. Tobo was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather and friend and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his father, William Leroy Daggett.

He is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Pamela Cooper Daggett; mother, Dorothy Adkins Daggett; daughters, Rebecca Ann Roberts of Johnsonville, April Daggett of Carthage; sons, Joshua Wilkes and William Daggett, Jr. both of Carthage; sisters, Joella Meszaros (David) of Cameron, and Laura Dunlap (Rex) of Putnam; brother, Morris Daggett (Tina) of Carbonton; grandchildren, Bryan, Anthony, Chris, Justin, Josiah, and Aubree; sister-in-law, Beth McCrimmon (Darian) of Carthage.
