William “Blue” Hoover Bibey, age 51, of West End, passed away on Thursday, January 25, 2024 at his home, surrounded by his loving family, his furry friend, Flint, and BFF Nuggie.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, February 3, 2024 at 2:00pm at Cox Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Lynn Lane officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the funeral home.
Blue was born in Moore County on November 19, 1972 to the late Robert Dale Bibey and Karen Carlyle Bibey.
He was employed with Cypress Lakes Golf Course for 17 years and later with Talamore Golf Course. He enjoyed playing golf with his friends, fishing at Holden Beach with Josh, and putting together model cars. Blue had a strong passion for music. He had a pure heart and loved his family more than life itself and loved to help people and make them smile. He will be greatly missed.
He leaves behind three brothers, Robbie Bibey, Charles Allen “Pudge” Bibey, and Jacob Bibey all of Moore County, grandmother, Betty Ashburn, and numerous nieces and nephews.
