We lived across the street from the Edmond's family in the 70's there in Cameron. Used to go swimming in their pool, rode the bus with them, had classes with Randy. So sad. "Dizzy" just needed some help. He was not doing well for a long time. I wish his family and friends would have stepped in- hopefully have him committed..
Regardless, the person who took his life and it was a hit and run, KARMA will seek out and I wish harm on no one but if he would have just stopped... Maybe people would understand but...he kept going!?!
I'm so sorry to his family. To lose your daddy, brother, son...I hope as time goes on, the pain of loss will lessen as he will always be in your heart.. I know he will be missed.

This was a tragic accident. The young man that hit Dean was at no fault. He did not leave the scene of the accident. He got out and helped direct traffic to prevent another vehicle from hitting Dean until the rescue could arrive.

My heart is so broke for the entire family. I lost one of the best friends I ever had. I kept up with Randy as best as I could. I understand it was hit and run but the man stayed. I have always loved him even when we split up. Today is the sadness day of my life; I pray for all of you all the time. Randy was a good man, a man full of love may he rest forever in peace.

Our deepest condolences to the entire Edmonds Family, you will be in our thoughts and prayers.
